During mechanical and electronic research and practice we use two diagnostic laboratories complete with onboard computer scanners, a four-wheel alignment system and the widest range of other manual and pneumatic tools currently available. Activities carried out in this Department include:
- Experimental research in technology and procedures applied to the repair and replacement of mechanical and electronic components, as well as active and passive safety systems, to establish and promote proper work and quality procedures.
- Research into and analysis of technologies applied to the diagnosis of mechanical parts, electronic and emission control systems for future applications focused on reducing levels of pollution, including research into vehicles powered by alternative energy.
